Dr. Phung was born and raised in California for part of his childhood before moving to Louisiana. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Dental School in New Orleans, graduating with honors.
After an opportunity arose from his best friend’s mentor in North Carolina, Dr. Phung decided to relocate to our vibrant state. Here, he enjoys the diverse amenities—from beaches and mountains to trails and city living—that align with his lifestyle.
In addition to dentistry, Dr. Phung has a passion for traveling, hiking, and exploring different cultures and languages. He is grateful for the unwavering support of his parents, who encouraged him to pursue his passion for science and dental health. Growing up in a modest lifestyle has instilled in him a commitment to giving back, leading him to volunteer at clinics and participate in mission trips. For Dr. Phung, building smiles and serving the community is incredibly rewarding.
